Data Deletion Instructions
Effective date: August 14, 2026
This page explains how to have your data deleted from SideKick by Forma, including data connected through Meta (Instagram/Facebook), Google, Canva, Granola, Fathom, or Fireflies. For the full picture of what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
1. Disconnect a connected account yourself (immediate)
If you only want to remove access to one connected service (Instagram/Facebook, Canva, Granola, or Fathom), you can do this yourself, right now, with no waiting:
- Sign in to SideKick and open Connections.
- Click Disconnect next to the account you want to remove.
This deletes the stored access token, the connection record, and all synced social data (posts, metrics, and audience demographics) from our systems immediately. It is not marked inactive and cleaned up later, it is removed in the same request. SideKick loses the ability to publish to, or read from, that account from that point on.
Google access (used for sign-in and, if granted, read-only calendar access) is managed through your Google Account’s own third-party access settings, or by emailing us using Section 2 below and we’ll remove our stored access on our end.
2. Request deletion of your account or other personal data
To delete your whole SideKick account, or any personal data we hold that isn’t covered by a simple disconnect above, email us:
Email your deletion request
Send an email to contact@formaconsultation.com from the email address associated with your SideKick account, with the subject line “Delete my data.” Include your account email and, if you know it, your business or organization name so we can find the right account quickly.
3. What gets deleted
- Your account, profile, and organization membership records.
- Any connected-account tokens still stored (Meta, Google, Canva, Granola, Fathom, or Fireflies): the encrypted token and its connection record are deleted, not just marked inactive. For Meta, any synced posts, metrics, and audience demographics are deleted too.
- Content you generated with SideKick and its associated history/reporting records.
- Any brand kit assets (logo, accent color) you uploaded.
What we may keep: billing and payment records we’re legally required to retain for accounting, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes, kept only as long as the law requires and not used for anything else. Backups that already existed before your request age out on their normal schedule rather than being individually purged.
4. Timeframe
- Disconnecting a connected account yourself (Section 1): immediate.
- An emailed deletion request (Section 2): we’ll confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days.
5. Questions
If anything here is unclear, or you want to confirm your data was deleted, email contact@formaconsultation.com.
